MAIN ENTRANCE
The main entrance to Towerhouse Wood is from the kissing gate (with a Woodland Trust sign) about 400 yards from the top of Towerhouse Lane. Unfortunately there is no easy parking for this access. See the Parking alternatives below if you're coming by car.
PARKING
The best place to park is at Jackland Fishing Lake on the Clevedon Road. There's a big car park as well as a tea shop serving delicious home made cakes, jams and trout pate. The owner's names are Caroline and Andy and if you tell them you're going on the Trail they will be very happy to accomodate you. Even happier if you buy a cup of tea!
Alternatively you can park in Nailsea and walk across the fields (10 minutes). See map below. Take care not to park in spaces designated for Industrial units (we have had some complaints!). You can also park in thelayby at the bottom of Towerhouse Lane and walk up to the main entrance.(10 minutes).
DISABLED ACCESS. It is possible to bring a wheel chair in to the top part of the Trail but you would need to call us to arrange for on site parking.
